Song of Sunday 7/12/2020

Poems about Jesus.

Each Sunday, I plan on taking a break from devotional-type writing to share an original poem.

FAMOUS

The One whose name is famous

He healed me first

Now He is much renowned in my home

The Jerusalemites had great thirst

They have been quenched

There, He is of great standing

The Judeans were in need

Their sin was outstanding

In the region at present

His name is that of great repute

The Samarians were hungry

In need of spiritual food

The gospel they were fed

Jesus, currently there, has great reputation

May continued fame His name receive

To the end of the earth; in all nations.
