Poems about Jesus.
Each Sunday, I plan on taking a break from devotional type writing to share an original poem.
THE FRINGE OF HIS GARMENT
If I only touch the fringe of His garment
I have made so little of sin
But God makes so much of it
How can I be forgiven?
If I only touch the fringe of His garment
I have lied and worshipped many gods,
Coveted and taken the Lord’s name in vain
Even murdered in my heart, O! I am so misgiven!
If I only touch the fringe of His garment
For the wages of sin is death
Separated from God for eternity
I cannot bear this hell!
If I only touch the fringe of His garment
It is the only remedy
So I reached out my hand and heard glorious words,
“Your faith has made you well.”
